During this week, the essential event for book lovers - the 40th National Book Fair & 10th Bangkok International Book Fair 2012, is organized by the Publishers and Booksellers with the aim of fostering a reading culture in Thai society. Taking the theme of Read for Life, the book fair will present over 1,000 new publications released by over 400 leading publishing houses. Visitors will also have the chance to join in lots of activities and browse intellectually-stimulating exhibitions such as E-Book. Plus, for the first time in Thailand, the event will feature the special exhibitions titled “Jewel of Asians” to showcase the great books from all ten countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and “Bangkok: World Book Capital” from Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA). As usual, the book fair is always attended by large number of visitors, so for your most convenience to visit QSNCC, please use the public transportation especially MRT subway and parking areas are provided in several locations, including 12 parking areas of MRT station, BTS parking areas and additional car park at Chamchuri Square, located at Sam Yan junction and Jasmine City Building, located on the Sukhumvit 23 Rd. on Saturdays & Sundays and at Terminal 21 everyday.
