The Agricultural Research Development Agency (Public Organization) will host the 1st ARDA Annual Conference 2008, which will take “Adding Agro-Values: From Research to Global Markets” as its theme. With the aim of supporting agricultural research, developing agricultural research personnel and enhancing competence and competitiveness of agricultural products in world markets, the conference is scheduled for June 2-3, 2008, from 7 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. at QSNCC.

Several keynote speakers from Thailand and abroad will deliver talks on an array of vital topics, including The Agricultural Value Chain and IT Enabled Business Models and The Effect of Global Warming on the Agriculture Sector.
The event will also feature the announcement of winners and presentation of awards to scholars who have undertaken outstanding research in commercial agriculture. There will also be an intellectually-stimulating exhibition by a number of organizations under the umbrella of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of various agricultural products developed by leading entrepreneurs in the field.
